Sydney Royal Easter Show – An exclusive insight into its proud traditions 悉尼复活节展独家深刻了解其优秀传统

This year the Sydney Royal Easter Show (Show) will celebrate its 190th anniversary. Established by the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS), the Show brings together 14,000 animals, the biggest carnival in the southern hemisphere, 300 Showbags, 160 food outlets, 12 hours of free entertainment every day and more than 900,000 visitors from around Australia and overseas.

今年悉尼復活節展將會慶祝190週年。本展由新南威爾士州皇家農學會（RAS）創辦，集合了14000只動物，南半球最大的嘉年華，300個奇趣包，160個食品店，每天12小時的免費娛樂，吸引來自澳洲和海外的90萬名訪客。

Renowned horseman Terry Goodear showed off his Clydesdale horses and explained how the gentle giants were responsible for transporting goods and services into outback Australia hundreds of years ago.

Today, we tried our hands at rural farm practices such as sheep shearing and cow milking. Other interactive farm experience includes feeding the baby animals, such as lambs, goats, calves, chickens and puppies.

The men from country NSW displayed the standing block and underhand techniques. The Show’s woodchopping and sawing competition is the largest and most competitive competition in the world.
